Shipping companies from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao can establish shipping companies in Mainland China based on single investment China Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economics jointly announced emporary method for examination and approval for foreign investment shipping companies? which allows foreign investors to invest and establish shipping companies. This regulation applies to shipping companies from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. The said method allows shipping companies to operate shipping routes or self-handle cargos, saving medium costs and benefiting cargo shipment. 2000.02.11
